Trade name
TSQ Altis triple-stage quadrupole mass spectrometer
Technical description

The TSQ Altis mass spectrometer is a next-generation triple quadrupole mass spectrometer designed to provide ultimate confidence in results. The TSQ Altis MS is built on a foundation of state-of-the-art hardware and software components providing superb performance with unmatched analytical flexibility and robustness for the most demanding applications.

A quadrupole mass analyzer is essential for the analysis of substances in complex matrices. In the broadly understood pharmacy and environmental research, this type of apparatus is used as a standard for the determination of, among others, metabolites of drugs / drugs / boosters in body fluids (screening and quantitative analysis), testing of falsified drug ingredients, pharmacokinetic studies, checking the purity of API after synthesis, purity of raw materials for synthesis, determination of impurities in the finished product. The quadrupole mass analyzer enables quantitative determinations based on SIM or SRM experiments, which in turn ensure high sensitivity and precision of determinations. In addition, the SRM (or MRM) mode is the gold standard for quantification in mass spectrometry techniques. The key parameters for the apparatus in question are sensitivity, resolution, number of SRM passes per second and linearity.

New challenges in food and environmental safety emerge every day. Quantitation of hundreds of contaminants at ultralow levels can be easily performed using the TSQ Altis mass spectrometer. The instrument provides robust quantitation, outstanding reproducibility, ultimate sensitivity, and remarkable speed.
