Technical description

12MHz magnet with space for a sampler with a maximum inner diameter of 53mm. Digital spectrometer electronics with pulse programmer, acquisition with high-speed A/D sampling, preamplifier optimized for low-frequency operation and up to 128,000 echoes capability. Also includes sampler tuning function, electronics rack and magnetic temperature controller. Tomco RF transmitter, 500 W peak power. Sampler diameters of 29 and 53 mm. Maximum sample length of 50 mm.

1-D pulsed field gradient to enable measurements including diffusion, saturation profiles and capillary pressure. Magnet-mounted 1-D actively shielded pulse field gradient coils, bi-directional power amplifier and mains trigger to synchronize gradient pulses with mains power cycles. Gradient up to 20G/cm.
