Ambient Kelvin Probe
The ambient Kelvin probe is used to measure the work function of conductive materials.
Equipment made available on the terms applicable from the Regulations for the Use of ACMiN Research Infrastructure. (https://acmin.agh.edu.pl/home/acmin/5_Wspolpraca/Aparatura/Zasady_i_koszty_korzystania_z_infrastruktury_badawczej_ACMiN.pdf)
Electrical characterization of metals and semiconductors, catalytic and corrosion tests.
Measurement of work function of solid samples using an oscillating reference electrode.
Available electrode diameters: 100 um, 1 mm, 5 mm, 10 mm.
The resolving power of the measurement is 2-3 meV.
