System for measuring capillary pressure and electrical properties in rock samples
The system provides reservoir description data at reservoir temperature, pore pressure and confining stress. The system is configured to provide steady state porous plate capillary pressure data and simultaneous electrical properties (“F”, “RI”, “Sw”, “m”, “n”, “Ro”, “Rt”, "Rw") data with reservoir fluids. The system is rated to 10,000 psig confining pressure, 9,500 psig pore pressure at a temperature of 150 °C and features automated data acquisition and semi-automated operation. Glass micro-porous disk allows pore entry pressures up to 1,500 psig to be achieved for oil/brine systems extending the capillary pressure range considerably from traditional ceramic disks.

Studies of capillary pressure in oil-water system (porous plate method). Measurement of electrical properties of a core saturated with fluids. Study of fluid displacement processes (after reconfiguration).
Test conditions can be up to 10,000 psig pore pressure and 10,000 psig confining (overburden) pressure, at 150°C (302 F)
