Hyperthermia equipment - a device for induction heating of nanoparticle solutions by DACPOL, using an AMBRELL generator.
The device for induction heating of magnetic nanoparticle solutions consists of:
control system,
component power supply system,
water cooling system,
and induction coil.
The control system is equipped with a high-frequency transistor generator (AMBRELL) for induction heating (EASY Heat 0224FFCE) with a power of up to 2.4 kW, a component power supply system and a system controlling the current, power and sample heating time. The cooling system (TEXA TCW12NBSBCP0000) is connected to the generator and induction coil. It is possible to carry out hyperthermia measurements in induction coils with internal diameters of 1; 2.5 and 4 inches.
Magnetic hyperthermia testing allows you to determine:
heating temperature of the nanoparticle solution (max. up to 100 oC),
heating and cooling rates of the solution of magnetic nanoparticles under the influence of an electromagnetic field depending on their type,
size and concentration, temperature dependencies as a function of time,
current and power at a given current of the system inducing an alternating electromagnetic field.
The equipment is made available under the terms of the ACMiN Regulations on the Use of Research Infrastructure. (https://acmin.agh.edu.pl/acmin/dokumenty/).
