Inverted fluorescence microscope with digital camera
Inverted fluorescence microscope with digital camera (Axio Vert.A1, Carl Zeiss). The modular structure allows the use of many observation techniques, from bright and dark field through phase contrast, Nomarski contrast (DIC), PlasDIC and EPI-fluorescence.
The lenses that the microscope is equipped with are as follows:
- 10x / 0.25 aperture, long distance, planachromatic
- 20x / 0.35 aperture, long distance, planachromatic
- 40x / 1.30 aperture, fluorite, with extended transmission in UV and IR, oil immersion
- 63x / 1.25 aperture, semiplanapochromatic, oil immersion
in lenses 10x, 20x Nomarski contrast adapted to work with plastic culture vessels.
Semiconductor light source Colibri 7, 4-channel RGB-UV fluorescent light source with integrated control unit for continuous brightness adjustment. The microscope is equipped with 4 semiconductor LED lamps:
- red (630nm) to excite Cy5, Alexa 631, TOTO-3 and similar dyes
- green (555nm) for excitation of Cy3, TRITC, DsRed and similar dyes
- blue (475nm) to excite eGFP, Fluo4, FITC and similar dyes
- UV (385nm) to excite DAPI, Alexa 405, Hoechst 33258 and similar dyes.
