Nanohardness Tester NHT 50-183; Nano-Scrach Tester NST 50-146

Trade name
Nanohardness Tester NHT 50-183; Nano-Scrach Tester NST 50-146
Technical description

Nanohardness Tester: The device is used to measure the hardness of materials with a fine-crystalline structure, thin layers. Performing single and cyclic measurements. Possibility of applying loads from 0.05 mN to 500 mN. Equipped with a Berkovich indenter (with certificate), an optical microscope, a motorized table in the X and Y axes. The software allow to measure distances and coating thicknesses. Nano-Scrach Tester: The device is used to characterize the mechanical properties of the surface of materials, thin layers and coatings, e.g. adhesion, cracking, delamination and deformation, hardness. It can be used for various types of coatings, e.g. PLD, plasma, semiconductor and optical coatings. The nano-scrach tester allow to determine the following parameters: friction force, penetration depth of the indenter, wear force, etc. A diamond tip is used for the measurement, which affects on the material with a specific set force.
