FTIR Spectrometer Nicolet 6700
The Thermo Scientific Nicolet 6700 FTIR spectrometer enables the recording of high-quality spectra in the infrared range (400÷4000 cm-1) with a maximum resolution of 0.1 cm-1.
Equipment:
• DTGS and MCT detectors (nitrogen cooled)
• non-hygroscopic optics
• reflection and transmission adapters
• Praying Mantis by Harrick - enabling measurements with the DRIFT technique at variable
temperature RT÷450°C, in gas flow (including air, nitrogen, argon)
• high-temperature vacuum chamber, measurements in transmission mode in temperatures RT÷500°C
- according to the regulations listed on the laboratory's website: http://wydzlab.agh.edu.pl/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Regulamin-WLBFSTiG.pdf
- scientific and research cooperation with AGH units and other domestic and foreign scientific units
- cooperation within the projects of NCN, NCBiR, cooperation with industry and under contracts
Experimental and structural phase studies of the transformation and modification of physicochemical properties of materials.
The apparatus enables registration of FT-IR spectra of solids (at variable temperatures and atmosphere of various gases; in the form of a powder or a thin layer), and viscous liquids.
