Research capabilities

The examination of mass change and related thermal effects during dynamic heating/quenching and/or in isothermal conditions, in static and dynamic oxidizing, reductive or neutral atmosphere.

Direct examination of thermal diffusivity and indirect analysis of thermal conductivity, made for solids as well as powders or liquids.

Measurements of the linear dimensions change vs. temperature and time.

Measurement capabilities

DTA, TG, DSC in the range of 25 to 1300 °C – static and/or dynamic heating conditions and in the range of 25 to 2000 °C exclusively in neutral gas flow or static atmosphere.

Thermal diffusivity in range of 0.01-1000 mm2/s and thermal conductivity measurements for solids and liquids. Temperature range up to 1500 °C in argon.

Dilatometry up to 1500 °C –  various atmospheres and heating rates. Sample length up to 25 mm.
