NMR spectrometer
The Magritek Rock Core Analyzer (2 MHz) spectrometer with a diffusion system is dedicated to the study of porous systems, in particular the "tight" type, and the Thomography system attachment enabling the performance of complete 2D-3D tomographic experiments. In addition, we have an overload system (Overburden system) allowing testing of samples at pressures up to 6000 PSI.
The NMR scanner is used to test objects in terms of quantity and quality water and hydrocarbon content. In particular, for the study of any porous solid objects or biological systems containing 1H. The tested objects can be: rock cores (shale rocks, sandstones, carbonates), soil samples, biological samples (fruits, vegetables, plants, seeds, small animals, tissues), as well as pharmaceutical, chemical, food samples, etc.
The size of the tested objects up to 5 cm in diameter and length for 1D experiments at a resonance frequency of 2MHz for 1H, which corresponds closely to borehole research using NMR methods. 2D and 3D measurements can be performed on objects with a diameter of up to 6 cm at a resonant frequency of 24 MHz.

- Porosity and its distribution
- Indexes of free and bound water content: FFI, BVI, CBW, T2 Cut-off.
- Determination of fluid types, time distributions T1, T2 and diffusion coefficient D: D-T2, T2-T1, T2-T2, also in the spatial version (Spatially resolved T2).
- Determination of permeability, saturation profiles, capillary pressures, pore throats.
